Medical certificates required by Etihad

Passengers on Etihad flights will need a medical certificate from August.

From August 1 all passengers flying with Etihad Airways to Abu Dhabi or transiting through Abu Dhabi will need to show a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior to boarding.

The test result must come from a list of approved testing facilities and should be carried out within 96 hours of arrival in the emirate.

Children aged 12 years and under and people with disabilities are exempt from the PCR test requirement.

Travellers will also need to show ICA (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship) approval if Abu Dhabi is their final destination.

The United Arab Emirates has recorded more than 58,000 coronavirus cases and 343 deaths.
