Amanpuri Phuket reopens with family pavilions and a new yacht
The three-month refurbishment sees the unveiling of two new, family-sized accommodation types
The Spa House has also undergone an update with a new treatment room and a dry sauna

An Amanpuri Ocean Pool Pavilion
One of Phuket’s most luxurious destinations has reopened following a three-month refurbishment as well as the introduction of a 26m sports yacht.
Amanpuri, the original Aman destination set on Phuket’s west coast, has unveiled six new pavilions with two new accommodation categories and launched Riva 86 Domino, a high-performance yacht that sails from Amanpuri’s secluded beachfront to some of Thailand’s most spectacular coastal destinations - think Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay, Racha Island and the Similan Islands. Riva 86 is designed for full-day and multi-day charters, enabling guests to explore remote islands and dine under the stars surrounded by ocean.
Back on dry land, the new two-bedroom Ocean Pool Pavilion and two-bedroom Partial Ocean Pool Pavilion sit enticingly amongst the swaying coconut palms overlooking the Andaman Sea.
The two-bed Ocean Pool Pavilion offers 262sqm of indoor and outdoor living space with bright and airy interiors, traditional wooden accents, a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with tub opening onto a timber terrace. Outside, there’s a private swimming pool, dining area and sundeck.
The two-bed Partial Ocean Pool Pavilion boasts an outdoor lounging sala and 147sqm of space with two king bedrooms and generous ensuite bathrooms. All other standalone pavilions have also received a refresh.
At the Spa House, an additional treatment room and dry sauna have been added; they join existing facilities including a Vichy shower room, an infrared sauna, a steam room, a cold plunge pool and an indoor jacuzzi.
