Brand new beachfront resort Melia Koh Samui is offering special family-friendly packages in the run-up to Christmas.
The ‘Family Escape’ and ‘Family Fun & Wellbeing’ deals include stays in the resort’s Family Suites - each suite has a master bedroom and double sofa bed for two children, a living area and balcony overlooking the lagoon pool. The suites also come with fun games for downtime out of the sun, with family favourites like Jenga, Othello, Rubik and dominos.
“We wanted to introduce experiences that focus on the fact that family is everything,” said resort general manager Ernesto Osuna. “Particularly amid what has been a very challenging year due to the global pandemic.”
Further facilities at Melia Koh Samui include a lagoon pool and two-level infinity pool with plenty of complimentary foam floats, a swim-up bar, kids club, spa and fitness centre. Kids can also enjoy the resort's outdoor playground and mini waterpark.
The Family Escape package includes a batik textile workshop for children at the resort’s two-storey Kidsdom Kids’ Club and children will also be able to enjoy a complimentary daily ice cream. Plus, there’s a 20% discount in hotel dining spaces and a 50% discount for mum and dad on all spa treatments at the resort’s YHI Spa.
Meanwhile, the Family Fun & Wellbeing package includes a wellness consultation at YHI Spa for mum and dad and a 90-minute healing massage, facials, reiki and meditation while the kids get to hang out at the Kids’ Club, with tons of fun activities including animal yoga, splash dance and craft classes.
The package also includes a daily food and beverage credit of THB 500, complimentary ice cream and cotton candy for the children and a 20% discount in resort dining outlets.
Both packages include round-trip transfer from Samui International Airport.
Family Escape - From THB 4,800 per room per night for a minimum of two nights. The package includes accommodation in a Family Suite, free daily ice cream, 20% discount in resort dining outlets and 50% discount on all spa treatments.
Family Fun & Wellbeing - From THB 29,999 for seven nights (which is a 40% saving on room rates). The package includes accommodation in a Family Suite, a daily food and beverage credit of THB 500, free daily ice cream and cotton candy and 20% discount in resort dining outlets. Bookings for 14 nights or more will receive an additional five per cent discount.
