Family fun at Galaxy Macau with Wavey the peacock

If you’re looking for a fun family weekend away, Galaxy Macau has just launched an exciting new kids ‘edutainment’ centre.

Galaxy Kidz is located at the mega Galaxy Macau resort, with a huge range of fun activities designed to promote learning.

Experiences at the centre are guided by Wavey, the Galaxy Kidz peacock mascot. The centre is open to children staying in the hotels that make up the huge Galaxy Macau resort, including Galaxy Hotel, The Banyan Tree Macau, Okura Hotel Macau, Raffles at Galaxy Macau and Andaz Macau.

At check-in, Wavey will greet young guests and present them with a game passport. Child-friendly amenities are also set-up in hotel rooms.

During their stay, youngsters can enjoy two hours of complimentary access to the brand new Galaxy Kidz Entertainment Centre which is located on the second floor of the Galaxy Hotel. Themed activities and workshops have been tailored for children to explore STEAM subjects. They can try their hand at a scientific experiment in Wavey’s Lab or a culinary adventure in Wavey’s Kitchen. Budding botanists can get back to nature at the Grand Resort Deck, where they can learn about plants and insects or fly a kite; the centre also has a Sensory World to encourage exploration and creativity.

There are also plenty of free play and outdoor activities, as well as Galaxy Kidz movies and Wavey’s Stories.

Further amenities at Galaxy Macau include the world’s largest Skytop Wave Pool, the world’s longest Skytop Aquatic Adventure River Ride and a 150m white sand artificial beach. Plus there are waterslides, geysers, waterfalls and a kids’ aquatic zone.
