Nhaan Resort & Spa Hoi An is a great destination for families
A new resort hotel has opened in the UNESCO city of Hoi An, one of Vietnam’s most popular holiday destinations.
The riverside Nhaan Resort & Spa Hoi An is located in the heart of the heritage-listed old town, famed for its lantern-strewn waterways and cobbled lanes. The property sits on the Co Co River at Cam Thanh village, close to the ancient town of Hoi An, popular Cua Dai Beach and Cam Thanh Nipa Forest.
The resort is the first ‘Tapestry Collection by Hilton’ property to open in Vietnam, a brand that specialises in independent boutique hotels. Nhaan is derived from the Vietnamese words ‘nhà’, meaning home, and ‘an’, for peace. Combined, it’s hoped Nhaan provides a peaceful sanctuary for guests to reset and reconnect.
Designed by Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia, the resort embraces a nature-led design with expansive panoramic windows, locally sourced stone and timber framing garden and water views, and handcrafted details like native textiles, local lanterns and artisanal pottery.
The rooms and suites include 19 pairs of inter-connecting rooms suited to families, as well as rooms with direct pool access.
Curated guest activities include pottery-throwing, traditional woodcarving and lantern-making workshops, and outdoor pursuits like family-friendly bicycle tours and private picnics by the beach or rice fields. Children can also enjoy the resort’s kids’ club featuring craft-based activities.
An outdoor infinity pool, yoga deck and 24-hour fitness centre complete the picture.
