Laguna Phuket is located on around 1,000 hectares of landscaped tropical gardens with several lagoons and fronting the 3 km white-sand stretch that is Bang Tao Beach. It’s just 25 minutes from Phuket airport and offers several resort options.


Angsana Laguna Phuket is just a two-minute stroll from the beach and boasts plenty of activities as well as a spa and kids’ club. At the resort’s ‘activity hub’ you’ll find exciting options including sailing, stand-up paddle boarding on the lagoon and a championship golf course.


Alternatively, the stunning 323m free-form pool winds its way through the resort and offers a lazy river and artificial beach.

This family-friendly property is nestled in Bang Tao Bay and makes full use of its location with heaps of watersports available. It even offers sailing courses tailored for seven to 16 year olds with professional coaches from Seahorse Sailing Phuket. Hotel designer Bill Bensley has reimagined Phuket’s mining past at this sleek hotel - and the onsite kids’ club is just as bling.

Rosewood Explorers Club is aimed at four to nine year olds at the colourful indoor and outdoor club with climbing walls, arts and crafts, performance stage and nooks to relax in. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows afford soothing, light-filled views over the gardens and beachside pool.


There’s pizza making, cupcake decorating and chocolate workshops, as well as Thai dancing and language classes and storytelling. Active kids can enjoy ‘animal yoga’, junior Thai boxing, mini boot camp and zumba. 


The resort also has a Rosebuds service for babies, providing guests with baby items to smooth their stay such as car seats, strollers, organic skincare products, baby monitors, cribs, in-room baby proofing and pool fencing, baby baths, bottle warmers and high chairs. 


At the opposite end of the age range, teens can get stuck into soccer, petanque, water sports, beach boot camp or engage a personal trainer. There are cooking classes, mocktail workshops, indigo dye classes and DJ workshops.
