Lunar New Year

  • Take two days, get nine days off

  • The LNY holiday block runs from Saturday February 6 to Sunday February 14

By taking just two days - Wednesday February 10 and Thursday February 11 - as annual leave, you will end up with an incredible nine days off, plenty of time to jet off to the ski slopes or relax on a lounger somewhere tropical.

Easter and Ching Ming Festival

  • Take four days, get 11 days off

  • This block runs from Friday March 26 to Monday April 5

Agree four days off on Tuesday March 30 and Wednesday March 31, and Thursday April 1 and Friday April 2, and you will end up with an astonishing 11 days of holiday time - it's a good time to catch Phuket before it enters rainy season.

Buddha’s Birthday

  • Take one day, get four days off

  • The holiday block runs from Thursday May 13 to Sunday May 16

A great mid-week break in spring, if you plan to take Friday May 14 as a holiday day, you’ll end up with a nice block of four days leave. Top travel tip: Bali enters dry season in May.

HKSAR Establishment Day

  • Take one day, get four days off

  • A holiday block that runs from Thursday July 1 to Sunday July 4

Another neat mid-week break, take just Friday July 2 and you’ll end up with four consecutive days off - perfect for a mini-break or as recovery time after an Establishment Day junk trip. Alternatively, Danang is just a two-hour flight away.

Mid-Autumn Festival

  • Take one day, get four days off

  • The holiday block runs from Thursday September 16 to Sunday September 19

Book Friday September 17 and enjoy an early autumn four-day break. Why not explore South Korea at this time of year? It's only a short hop from Hong Kong.

Christmas and New Year

  • Take two days, get nine days off

  • This mega-block runs from Saturday December 25 to Sunday January 2

Exit 2027 with a bang by booking just two days and ending up with a respectable nine days of leave. The leave to take is Tuesday December 28 and Wednesday December 29. Jet off or stay home and enjoy Hong Kong’s Christmas celebrations.
