Samara Lombok integrated resort will offer three boutique beachside hotels
An exciting destination on the Indonesian island of Lombok is slated to open early in 2028.
Samara Lombok will be the largest integrated beachside destination on Lombok and the first Destination by Hyatt property to open in Southeast Asia. The development will comprise three boutique hotels and will eventually house 500 villas, 150 of which will be ready to open during the initial stage.Â
A comprehensive suite of facilities includes 12 dining concepts curated by celebrity chef Will Meyrick and children’s cookery author, Annabel Karmel, as well as a marine biology and watersports centre operated by expedition company Rascal Voyages, a football training centre, and the first Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre in Southeast Asia. The tennis centre will feature world-class tennis courts and four padel courts with programmes for players of all ages and abilities.Â
Villas at Samara Lombok will be available for sale in 12 designs from two to five bedrooms. A limited number of turnkey villas are now available with a build timeline of 15 to 18 months and a 90-year leasehold structure.
The resort is around half-an-hour from Lombok International Airport. International budget airline Scoot flies regularly between Singapore and Lombok.
