Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore has unveiled a brand new aqua playpark and family pool.
Splash Zone is Singapore’s latest water playground and family pool and is an extension of the ‘buds by Shangri-La’ interactive play space for kids. It has been launched as part of the hotel’s commitment to offer fun facilities for families - or multi-generational families - to enjoy.
The 1,300sqft park boasts six water play areas, including a family pool as well as plenty of lounging space on the pool decks for mums and dads.
Meander the lazy river or slip down the vertical drops on the slides, splash around with water spouts and jet cannons or wade the shallow pools with littlies.
“One of the really exciting aspects about the new Splash Zone is that it’s an extremely multi-generational and family-centric facility, where every member of the family can enjoy themselves in one central space,” says Tane Picken, general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.
The waterpark promises a bucket load of fun for kids staying at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore.
“There’s a variety of specially designed aquatic amenities even for the youngest of guests, with the gentle water sprays and wading pool; and the more adrenaline-packed activities like the slides, water canons and tipping buckets that will surprise and delight older children,” added Picken.
Further fun includes a pirate ship water play area with a crow’s nest and water slides, a free form pool for swimming leisurely laps and the ‘Village’ which, shaded by a canopy of greenery in the Shangri-La gardens, makes a perfect spot to laze on the pool decks.
