Tembo Beach Club & Resort promises laid-back luxe with a plantation-style resort - think white, wicker and plenty of breezy fans - on a fine-sand beach. Ease yourself onto a loungers and soak-up the ocean views that stretch across sparkling turquoise waters to the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan.
The pool is the focal point of the resort, with its swim-up bar, all-day restaurant and killer views. Further dining spaces include Tembo Restaurant for Mediterranean and Asian-inspired menus. The property will also be hosting visiting chefs and a regularly changing international menu at Journey, a private, 12-seat dining space inside the main restaurant. Ingredients are sourced locally from nearby growers.

Pick-up light bites at Tembo Deli, including sandwiches and paninis made-to-order, salads, charcuterie, cheeses, olives and dips. And tuck into fresh breads, cakes and pastries baked on-site. If you’re heading out for the day, picnic baskets can also be prepared.
Browse Tembo Style, the resort’s lifestyle boutique, an Aladdin’s Cave of resort wear for kids and adults, accessories, homewares and gifts. The collection has been sourced and hand-picked by owner Susan Field.
Accommodation at Tembo Beach Club & Resort includes nine double bungalows and a beachside villa. Seven of the bungalows offer king size beds and two twin rooms, while the villa has a private garden and is just steps from the sand. Luxe touches include high thread-count linen, breezy ceiling fans (as well as air conditioning) and Indian cotton robes. The carved, whitewashed furniture was sourced from artisans in northern Thailand and the beach villa boasts a dramatic four-poster bed with canopy. All rooms have a balcony or terrace.
And of course there is a spa boasting a small, curated menu and all-natural products from the local Siam Botanicals range.
