Centara Reserve Krabi to open this year

Centara Reserve Krabi is slated to open this coming winter

A new beach resort in Thailand has announced it will be opening later this year.

Centara Reserve Krabi is located within a secluded beachfront cove accessible by boat at Pai Plong Bay. The resort will offer rooms, suites and pool villas, as well as lagoon pools, a spa, three restaurants and three bars.

This will be the second Centara Reserve property to open in Thailand, following the launch of Centara Reserve Samui in 2021. The property was formerly known as Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi; the upscale new look is designed to capitalise on Krabi’s growing appeal amongst high-value international travellers. According to Centara, Krabi is emerging as one of Thailand’s most promising luxury destinations.

Home to some of Thailand’s most recognised seascapes, like Maya Bay, Krabi’s turquoise waters, white-sand beaches and limestone cliffs make it a favourite ‘quiet luxury’ destination for holidaymakers.

Its portfolio includes six brands, including Centara Reserve, which range from luxury island retreats and upscale family resorts.

Centara Reserve Krabi is scheduled to launch in December, 2026.
