Artist's impression of the hotel at the new Oxley Towers KSCC complex
A Langham hotel is set to open in Kuala Lumpur, it has been revealed.
Langham Hospitality Group released a first artist’s impression of the brand new hotel which is slated to launch in 2027.
The Langham Kuala Lumpur will be developed as part of the Oxley Towers KSCC complex, a property development in the ‘golden triangle’ central neighbourhood of the city.
The hotel will occupy the upper half of the skyscraper with cityscape views and access to the Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC Park and shopping malls.
The news comes on the back of the announcement of plans for The Langham, Customs House, Bangkok. The group already owns The Langham Jakarta.
The Langham Kuala Lumpur will offer 198 rooms and suites and “a rich array of luxurious amenities” including a sky pool, an outpost of The Langham Hong Kong’s three-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant T’ang Court, a spa and fitness centre.
“We look forward to bringing our flagship brand to Kuala Lumpur, a gateway city in a thriving part of the world that is also home to a notably robust travel market,” said Langham Hospitality Group chief executive officer Bob van den Oord. “The Langham Kuala Lumpur will be a telling symbol of our vision to craft iconic, world-class hotels in Southeast Asia and beyond.”
