FRITES Belgium on Tap opens in Macau - the new venue is located at Grand Lisboa Palace Macau

Hong Kong’s favourite Belgian dining spot has now opened in Macau. FRITES Belgium on Tap Macau has launched inside the opulent Grand Lisboa Palace Resort with live jazz, a wide selection of craft beers and the brand’s first cocktail menu.

The new venue evoques the spirit of a 1920s jazz club with chandeliers strung from soaring ceilings lighting a glamourous dining room featuring European stained glass and generously-sized wooden tables and benches. There are also private dining rooms for hosting up to 14 guests.

Live jazz performances by a five-piece house band take place every evening from Tuesday to Saturday.

The menu highlights Belgian favourites, with the national dish of moules-frites taking centre stage. Jet-fresh premium and sustainably farmed Kinkawooka mussels are sourced from South Australia and are served with five signature flavours including Provençale, Marinière, Laksa, Peri Peri and a classic house cream sauce.

Further crowd pleasers include Belgian Steak Frites and, exclusive to Macau, Marinated Tuna, Salmon Gravlax, Super Quinoa Salad, Burrata Salad and Duck à l’Orange. Sweet options run from Dame Blanche and Crème Brûlée Cheesecake to Waffle Bomb Alaska made with Belgian Liège waffles, meringue and homemade ice cream.

Belgian beer brewing techniques are recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage and guests can explore more than 30 craft beers sourced by FRITES Belgium on Tap and imported directly from Belgium, with exclusive Macau options.

FRITES Belgium on Tap is also débuting a cocktail menu at the Macau location.
