Just in time for the summer holidays, Galaxy Macau has unveiled enhancements to its super-popular Grand Resort Deck.
This summer Galaxy Macau debuts ‘Aquatainment Island’ at the Grand Resort Deck, a vibrant new fun zone designed exclusively for toddlers and children up to nine years old. Song with the existing Splash Cove, this new addition cements Galaxy Macau as host to Macau’s largest outdoor aquatic playground for kids.
More upgrades include enhancements to the Skytop Adventure Rapids, the world’s longest lazy river. Suspended 575m above ground level the transparent tubes and slides wind their way around the Grand Resort Deck. This headline attraction has now had an upgrade and a gentle float has been transformed into a fast-paced aquatic ride.
And the huge Skytop Wave Pool will be hosting surf spectacles this summer. The pool generates waves up to one-and-a-half metres alongside a 150m white sand beach to create a resort-style seaside vibe. On top of these experiences, every weekend from June 19 to August 30 the Skytop Wave Pool will be transformed into a stage for action-packed surf performances by local extreme sports athletes. The pool also boasts a nine-metre waterslide and dedicated kids’ zones.
Access to the Grand Resort Deck is available to guests staying at one of the Galaxy Macau resort hotels, including Banyan Tree Macau, Galaxy Hotel, Hotel Okura Macau, JW Marriott Hotel Macau, Andaz Macau and the recently opened Capella Macau.
