Mandarin Oriental Bankside is part of the wider Bankside Yards project in London.
Mandarin Oriental has revealed it will be opening a third London hotel, Mandarin Oriental Bankside London.
Situated on London’s bustling South Bank, the property is slated to launch in 2028 and will form part of the city’s Bankside Yards development, which will eventually connect the space between Tate Modern and Blackfriars Station.
The standalone hotel will offer 171 guest rooms as well as 70 branded Residences at Mandarin Oriental. Facilities are described as including a Spa at Mandarin Oriental with signature therapies and treatments, a 25m lap pool, a fitness centre and heat and water experiences.
The hotel will have four dining spaces located on the first and 19th floors and will also benefit from the wider Bankside Yards development.
Residents of The Residences at Mandarin Oriental will also be able to take advantage of hotel facilities. In addition, the residences will have a sky lobby lounge, private roof garden and parking.
The property will have views over St Paul’s Cathedral. The City of London, galleries and shopping districts are all easily accessible.
Bankside Yards is the UK’s first fossil-free major mixed-use development. The project was started in 2020 and will be made-up of office, residential and hospitality spaces.
