Anantara Hoi An has unveiled new suites and a refreshed pool deck

A luxury riverside resort in the Vietnamese heritage city of Hoi An has unveiled a major upgrade.

This is the biggest update Anantara Hoi An has undergone since it opened in 2013; the transformation includes a new collection of riverfront suites, a refreshed pool area and a new dining destination.

The eight new Thu Bon River Suites are a complete renovation of ten premium river suites and the conversion of the resort’s signature suite into a new family-friendly two-bedroom River Suite.

The resort’s 19 suites have been refreshed with elegant interiors that blend French colonial style with Asian influences. The spaces offer split-level layouts, private terraces or balconies and river views.

A more personalised service for suite guests includes a dedicated room host service, in-suite check-in and check-out, a complimentary 60-minute spa treatment per person per stay and exclusive access to Anantara Spa’s private steam room.

More suite benefits include luxury beach bags, a welcome bottle of wine and private wine fridge rental for guests staying in the two-bedroom River Suite and the Garden Suite categories.

The new look pool deck boasts elegant cabanas, oversized loungers and lush landscaped gardens with uninterrupted river views.

Hotel restaurant, Art Space Restaurant & Spa, has undergone an extensive redesign with a new tropical-inspired terrace concept and a revamped menu. Guests can expect signature cocktails, wood-fired pizzas and tapas-style dishes, a sit-up bar, and a stage hosting live music.

“This is the most exciting evolution of the resort since opening more than a decade ago,” said Ross Sanders, area general manager for Vietnam. “From the introduction of our new Thu Bon River Suites and the transformation of our pool area to the complete reimagining of Art Space Restaurant & Bar, every enhancement has been designed to celebrate Hoi An’s rich heritage and deep connection to the Thu Bon River. We are creating even more opportunities for guests to relax, connect and experience the destination in a truly meaningful way.”
