A family resort on Phuket’s popular southwest coast has unveiled a brand new kids’ splash zone.

Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach has revealed the fun family attraction which features a water slide and fountains.

The new addition is part of a wider upgrade to the property which includes an expanded culinary offering. The hotel has launched two new restaurants, La Cala, a sophisticated Italian dining destination, and Kanpai, a Japanese dining experience.

These enhancements complement the resort’s existing amenities, which include ten dining venues, direct pool-access rooms on the ground floor, a spa, multiple pools, and eco-adventures like reef education and on-site butterfly sanctuary experiences. The children’s club for four to 12 year olds offers a programme of daily activities and is filled with games and crafts. More family activities include movies on the lawn, yoga on the beach, cooking classes and beach volleyball.

Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa Merlin Beach is located on secluded Tri-Trang Beach in the southern area of Phuket, just north of Karon Beach and a ten-minute drive from the markets and entertainment of Patong.
