NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort launches new kids' club

A Maldives resort has unveiled a brand new family club.

The recently opened NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort is located on Fonimagoodhoo Island in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a 40-minute seaplane ride from the international airport.

The resort has now launched The Maxies Family Club, a ‘tech-light’ sanctuary for youngsters and their families. Inside, there’s a supervised two-storey playground while outdoors a toddler-friendly pool with a water slide offers plenty of fun.

The club is aimed at children aged between five and 12 years, blending movement, creativity and imagination with dance classes, musical games, face painting and paper art. A key feature of the club is Dodo4Kids, an educational initiative that introduces kids to the concept of climate friendly travel using environmental storytelling and interactive nature and local culture-based activities.

The Maxies Family Club forms part of a broader family-centric vision at the resort. Family-friendly accommodation features beach villas offering easy access to the powdery sand. All villa categories are designed for at least one child and the Reethi Suite, the resort's largest two-bedroom villa, is aimed at families looking for spacious accommodation with privacy along a secluded stretch of beach. Accommodation is placed with direct access to the Family Zone within the Activity Centre.

Family-oriented dining includes a Kids’ Corner at the main buffet. Complimentary babysitting for two hours daily is also available.
