Regala Skycity Hotel has opened at Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok airport.
Regal Hotels International has launched Regala Skycity Hotel located at the new Skycity hub and just minutes from Hong Kong International Airport, writes Stacey Marcelo.
The 1,208 room hotel is directly connected to AsiaWorld-Expo and 11 SKIES - Hong Kong’s largest hub for retail, dining and entertainment and slated to open in late 2023. It boasts three restaurants including Petra, their all-day dining outlet serving up international cuisine, Mediterranean restaurant Vivace and Chinese restaurant Jade. Further facilities include a ballroom and two banquet halls for weddings and conventions, children’s entertainment spaces, an outdoor pool and a landscaped rooftop Sky Deck with views of Lantau Island. Wellness facilities include a Sky Gym and jogging track.
Regala Skycity Hotel is less than half-an-hour from Hong Kong’s Central District by Airport Express and Hong Kong Disneyland is a15-minute taxi ride. It's also easily accessible for the Greater Bay Area; the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link are a short drive away.
The mega-scale Skycity development is part of Hong Kong airport's push to strengthen its position as an international aviation hub. At the heart of the project is the 11 SKIES retail and entertainment complex which is set to become the largest indoor entertainment hub in Hong Kong with more than 800 shops, 120 restaurants, as well as office towers.
