Robinson Club Cyprus opens


ROBINSON Club Cyprus opens on the island this summer.


Travel company TUI has launched its family-oriented premium club brand, ROBINSON, in Cyprus for the first time. This will be the group’s 26th property to open worldwide.


ROBINSON Club Cyprus is located on a 78,000sqm site on the south coast of the island and around a 30-minute drive from Larnaca International Airport.


It offers direct access to an extensive sandy beach and a large bay. The guest rooms and suites are accommodated in two- and three-storey terraced bungalows in the main building and have been extensively renovated before this summer’s opening.


Families will also be able to take advantage of a wide range of sports and water sports.


“We are pleased that we can continue ROBINSON’s continuous course of growth even in these extraordinary times,” said a spokesperson for ROBINSON. “We are delighted that we are adding a fascinating destination to our portfolio with Cyprus, which has a lot to offer our guests.”


Cyprus announced this week that it will be opening its borders to vaccinated travellers from Britain and Israel as its seeks to get back on track for the summer season.


The country has been in and out of lockdown throughout the pandemic and has maintained a low infection rate relative to the rest of Europe. It has so far recorded 36,000 infections and 232 deaths.
