Step inside the fluffy universe of the 'juju' this summer. Pacific Place mall is hosting the Hong Kong debut of Juju World, a larger-than-life collaboration with internationally celebrated Australian artist CJ Hendry. Known for its floppy ears and flower-adorned eye, Hendry's viral juju character is transforming Garden Court into a multi-sensory playground. Families can wander through 'juju planet' to admire towering, vibrant character sculptures, step inside the 'juju room' - a cosy cocoon enveloped by a soft sea of over 400 plushies - and take whimsical family photos in the 'juju infinity mirror'. To celebrate the launch, Hendry has designed a Hong Kong-exclusive merchandise collection. Collectors can snap up limited-edition blind boxes featuring nine city-inspired colourways, alongside giant plush toys, summer essentials, and capsule machines packed with playful accessories to customise your own juju companion. It's the ultimate bright, soft, and completely irresistible escape from the summer heat.

Hungry diners are invited to check out the atrium at this Kowloon mall which has been transformed into a giant Hong Kong-style tea house. Six oversize photo spots include a swirling lemon tea swimming pool, a three-metre classic iced lemon tea installation and a ‘Moko Tea House’ retro-style restaurant counter. Don’t miss the pineapple bun steamed dim sum cart being pushed around the atrium by a pineapple bun vendor, and there’s a giant steamer containing cute char siu bao and siu mai dumpling characters - walk into the steamer to take a photo with the cute dim sum pieces. Smiling serenely at the centre of the action is a giant egg tart. Complete three summer challenges - including a dim sum treasure hunt, dim sum takeaway challenge and a Hong Kong handmade charm workshop - to be in with the chance of winning limited-edition gifts.

Jumptopia - Set Sail on the Grand Line - Citywalk Atrium & Citywalk Garden Plaza

Billed as Hong Kong’s first summer water park, ‘Jumptopia - Set Sail on the Grand Line’ comes to Citywalk this month. The water park includes outdoor themed play areas as well as a naval-themed ‘Mysterious Bay’ area in the atrium of Phase 1 of the mall, with a treasure hunt, puzzles and challenges - kids get to board ‘driftboats’ and navigate fog and sound effects to complete a maritime adventure, deciphering hidden codes and completing a shooting mission. Finally, they can stage their escape by slipping down a six-metre slide. Outside in the Garden Plaza is an outdoor water battle zone with plenty of water-based fun. There are seven interactive water installations, including a storm water canon at the centre of the circular pool, high-pressure water guns, a water tower and a littlies-friendly ‘Mushroom Fountain Area’ with smaller water jets and a water ‘curtain’.Â

Families can walk through an eight-metre vintage salon facade to meet 11 oversized character figures, headlined by a towering, four-metre Zimono, dressed as a master hairstylist. Kids can play with the interactive Hair Colour Mixing Vinyl Player or trigger gradient lighting effects at the 'Wild Blowout Labubu’ installation. Shoppers who spend $1,200 or more via electronic payment can redeem a $50 mall e-voucher, making it not a bad weekend destination for collectors of all ages.

Sun Hung Kai Properties’ two flagship malls, Tai Po Mega Mall and Yuen Long Plaza, are partnering with the popular Korean creative brand, Muzik Tiger, a chubby big cat mascot representing a carefree lifetsyle (the moniker is inspired by the Korean word 'mujeok', which means 'no job'). The tiger family will be hanging out at both malls this summer, hosting ‘Summer Sweet Games’ in Tai Po and a ‘Sweet Watermelon Party’ at Yuen Long. The creative collab combines ‘light sports’ (like motion-sensor goalkeeping) with summer themed desserts and features AR digital interactive technology and competitions with limited-edition gifts, like the Muzik Tiger cooling-fan for redemption. And don't miss the intriguing-sounding 'watermelon-shaped stress-relieving patting machine' - if nothing else, a whole lot of imagination has gone into these set-ups.

Ma On Shan mall MOSTown has teamed up with Japan’s viral internet sensation, Baby Namagaki, to launch the baby oyster-themed indoor beach installation. The mall's L2 Atrium has been completely transformed into a vibrant tropical paradise blanketed by a shimmering blue ocean canopy. Families can explore the 'Summer Emerald Beach', which features an incredible six-and-a-half-metre Rainbow Waterfall Light Tower, an immersive beach treasure hunt digging zone and 30 different quirky character designs hidden around the venue. Fans can also head to the on-site pop-up store to snag one of the more than 200 cute character goods, including 20+ items exclusive to MOSTown and limited-edition collectors' pieces directly imported from Japan. Langham Place in Mong Kok will transform into a massive interactive destination featuring five core movie-themed photo zones.
