Andaz One Bangkok launched earlier this quarter, adding yet another stay option to one of Southeast Asia’s most exciting capitals. Andaz One Bangkok opened its doors in December as part of One Bangkok, the city’s largest integrated district. The hotel is located by Lumphini Park and offers sweeping green views. Rooms feature marble bathrooms, complimentary non-alcoholic minibars, Nespresso coffee machines and Dyson hairdryers. Most have park views. On the seventh floor is an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the park and a fitness centre. Dining options include Jing for casual, Chinese dining, Andaz Terrace for all-day alfresco meals and Piscari on the 23rd floor specialises in sharing-style Mediterranean cuisine; after dark, live DJ grooves take over the rooftop terrace.

V Villas Maldives at Mirihi - MGallery Collection

Boutique hotel brand, MGallery Collection, launches V Villas Maldives at Mirihi in the new year. Located in the heart of the Maldives on the secluded island of Mirihi in the South Ari Atoll and a picturesque 25-minute seaplane journey from Malé airport. The property was formerly Mirihi Island Resort and is undergoing an extensive renovation and expansion ahead of its January launch. The property will eventually offer 42 villas, including a mix of beach and overwater villas, as well as multi-bedroom suites with private pools. Named for the delicate Mirihi flower, the island is surrounded by coral reefs and a protected lagoon renowned for diving opportunities with manta rays and whale sharks. Facilities include a signature spa and wellness sanctuary, indoor and outdoor gym and yoga pavilion and upgraded dining spots with an overwater restaurant.

Varel Singapore, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Opening early in 2026, Varel Singapore is located on Seelgie Road Arts District at the “heart of Singapore’s artistic pulse”. Its central location makes for easy access to Singapore’s most popular destinations, such as Orchard Road, Bugis Street and Marina Bay. Inspired by Southeast Asian heritage, Varel Singapore will eventually offer 128 rooms and four dining concepts. Two restaurants are currently open including Hathaway Autography for Southeast Asian-influenced flavours like heirloom fish curry and beef rawon. Vernacular Coffee serves beans expertly roasted in-house and Saga Bar is perfect for sundowner cocktails. There’s also a rooftop pool and fitness centre.

Hoi An Marriott Resort & Spa

With an opening date in early 2026, Hoi An Marriott Resort & Spa promises an exciting new resort experience in one of Vietnam’s most popular holiday destinations. The property sits on Cua Dai beach and minutes from the delights of Hoi An’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed old town. Rooms and suites feature locally inspired accents and facilities include no fewer than six dining venues. Restaurant hotspots include Greatroom, a beachfront restaurant, and Casa Capiz bar with rooftop seating overlooking the ocean. Families can unwind at the two resort pools and children can take advantage of an indoor-outdoor kids’ club. There’s also a spa, fitness centre and plenty of water sports on the beach.

Fusion Hotel Group is expanding with two new openings this quarter. LEGACY Hanoi is located a five-minute walk from the Vietnamese capital’s popular West Lake. The hotel blends contemporary design with the city’s rich cultural heritage and is designed as a living gallery. Nature-inspired artwork fills the lobby, lounges, restaurants, corridors and rooms, featuring lotus flowers, cranes and the mountains and forests of Vietnam. Rooms offer lake or city skyline views. Fusion is renowned for its wellness services and this hotel is no exception, with locally sourced treatment ingredients, an onsen and curated relaxation experiences. 

Grand Royal Riverside Hue - Fusion Collection

Described as a “refined retreat”, Grand Royal Riverside Hue draws inspiration from Indochine style, paying tribute to Hue’s rich heritage with wood furniture in traditional Vietnamese design. The hotel is located on Hung Vuong Street on the southern bank of the Huong River and with news over the historic Truong Tien Bridge and UNESCO World Heritage sites.
