The Nutcracker will be springing to life in the Drawing Room at St Regis Hong Kong with a theatrical assortment of sweet and savoury fancies. And on selected days guests can enjoy a ballet performance by the Jean M Wong Ballet School. The tea tray is served with tempting bites of smoked salmon eclair, mini turkey and foie gras pithiviers and a ratatouille jelly with hazelnut chips. The Murray has teamed up with Lane Crawford for its festive tea
The hotel’s Garden Lounge is collaborating with Lane Crawford this year to present ‘Baz & Friends Afternoon Invasion’ afternoon tea. Tea fans can also head to The Murray’s rooftop restaurant, Popinjays for a Festive Afternoon Tea buffet with plenty of cakes, sweets and savouries. Book before December 1 and enjoy a complimentary welcome glass of prosecco.

The Peninsula will be donating proceeds from its festive tea to Make A Wish International
Hong Kong’s ‘Grande Dame’ is presenting Teas of Hope this year with proceeds from each tea served donated to the Make A Wish charity. Guests can enjoy the tea in the festively decorated hotel lobby or aboard The Peninsula Express. Enjoy savoury treats like baguette with bellota ham and foie gras, brioche toast and duck confit and classic cucumber sandwiches, as well as chocolate bonbons, festive cakes and The Pen's famous raisin scones with cream and strawberry jam.

Festive bites at the elegant Verandah restaurant in Repulse Bay
Soak up ocean views at The Verandah in Repulse Bay which will also be presenting a Teas of Hope this festive season. Proceeds from the tea will be donated to St James’ Settlement, a local charity supporting people with disabilities. Savoury bites feature smoked salmon sandwich roulade, crab, tomato and caviar tarts and yellow chicken brioche. The cake tray comes laden with mango mousse cake, lemon cream puffs and The Verandah’s famous scones with clotted cream and jam. And on Christmas Eve there will be a special visit from Santa...

An Italian-influenced tea tray at Sophia Loren in Wan Chai
Expect an Italian-influenced afternoon tea throughout December with an optional two-hour free-flow prosecco option. Enjoy charcoal mini buns with lobster tartare, vol-au-vents stuffed with duck liver mousse and poultry terrine on brioche, plus Savarin mini cakes topped with cream and strawberries, chocolate scones and pistachio macarons. The Stage will also be offering ‘Liquid Cashmere’ festive hot cocktails.

The hotel’s Michelin-starred culinary team have crafted a decadent afternoon tea featuring a sumptuous selection of ‘east-meets-west’ treats. Lobby Lounge head chef Rajiv Chowdhoory and executive pastry chef Andy Yeung have teamed up to serve a very special Festive Afternoon Tea. Expect a tray of treats featuring a Chestnut Mousseline with a zesty citrus meringue and chestnut sponge and a Pistachio Vanilla featuring pistachio mousse, vanilla creme brulee and madeleine sponge.
