There's plenty of Asian-inspired dishes to choose from at BaseHall 02.
If you’re looking for a yummy dining spot in Hong Kong, BaseHall 02 has just opened in Jardine House.
The food court-style eatery is described as an ‘eclectic’ sister venue to the original BaseHall 01, which opened in 2020. There are thirteen independent dining concepts to choose from at the new venue, featuring some of the city’s top culinary talents. More than just a lunch stop, the venue is open into the night for happy hour and dinner.
New features include six ‘counter kiosks’ with elevated counters for diners to enjoy a front-row seat to open kitchens. Look-on as pork loins are deep fried in panko at Japanese tonkatsu bar Porker, or Korean home-style bites are assembled at Moyo. There’s Mashi no Mashi for Japanese wagyu, seabream ramen specialist Maru de Sankaku, speakeasy bar Artifact and chunky cookie and doughnut experts Cookie Vission.
Six ‘dice kiosks’ include kitchens from all over Hong Kong. Chow down at Kamcentre Roast Goose, Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings, On Lee Noodle Shop, Hot and Meen Sichuan specialist, Chiu Chow Delicacies’s specialist sliced marinated goose, or Taiwanese street food dishes from Both Street.
There’s also a retail space and the venue will shortly be hosting live events, including music performances, cooking classes, film screenings and DJ nights.
