Welcome back to Bali with a special package at Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana.

Travel in Southeast Asia is looking up this spring with Bali the latest country to relax border restrictions. And Ubud-based hotel Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana, is celebrating with a ‘Welcome Back to Bali Package’.

The boutique property is one of a handful of government selected properties allowed to open up as part of Bali’s ‘Warm Up Vacation’ programme. Entrance regulations mean that holidaymakers are free to travel throughout Bali but they must stay at the same, government-approved hotel for the first three nights of their stay.

Visa-on-arrival services have been reinstated for 23 countries and mandatory quarantine has been dropped for vaccinated travellers, although arrivals must take a PCR test on arrival at the airport and a second PCR test at the end of their first three days. They must also have a minimum of 30 days of health insurance.

The three-night ‘Welcome Back’ package at Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana, includes testing and health insurance, airport pick-up, butler service, daily afternoon tea, daily sunset cocktail, complimentary minibar, daily laundry, access to wellness facilities, an in-villa UV light treatment prior to check-in, in-villa hand sanitiser and face masks and a daily nanotechnology spray treatment in the villa.

The 20-key property is set over six hectares amongst the rice paddies of rural Bali. It was originally built as a holiday home for designer and art collector Hendra Hadiprana in the 1980s and was transformed into a resort in 2004. Although the family has now departed the estate, Hadiprana’s art collection remains, with numerous sculptures, antiques and artworks placed throughout the property.

Resort facilities include two dining spaces, The Tempayan and Panen Padi Lounge, both commanding splendid views over the rice paddies.

The main pool is guarded by Ganesh statues and private pool villas are also available.

The Welcome Back to Bali package is available until June 30 with package prices starting from approximately US$640. More details are available online.
