Duddell’s promises a "new era of dining" with renovated interiors, new signature menus, a vibrant new cocktail programme and a brand new dining room.

The popular Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant, which has been closed over the summer for the refurb, has reopened with a refreshed look, a new curated lunch and dinner tasting menus and a new all-day casual dining concept.

The third floor Main Dining Room remains the heart of the restaurant, serving Cantonese weekday lunch sets, dim sum, à la carte dishes and tasting menus. Renowned Hong Kong designer André Fu is behind the classically elegant look. He has drawn inspiration from Lingnan culture and the 1920s Diao Lou watchtowers of Guangdong, fortified multi-storey residences that blend Western architectural flourishes with traditional Chinese layouts. Lingnan culture is the regional culture of Southern China, including Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan, as well as Hong Kong and Macau in Greater China. It's a dynamic and diverse civilisation, renowned for its openness to absorbing influences from other cultures. Fu has blended Chioiserie-inspired pendants and hand-crafted stained glass screens inspired by the watchtowers with hues of greens, blues and yellows.

Meanwhile, the fourth floor at Duddell's has been transformed into The Upper Room, hosting casual, all-day dining with an emphasis on all-day-and-night dim sum, heritage-inspired small plates, cocktails and a weekend brunch that can be taken indoors on the outdoor terrace.

Casual dining on the fourth floor includes heritage-inspired small plates, dim sum, pan-fried buns with black pepper Wagyu, roasted goose pies with plum sauce, typhoon shelter-style vegetable platters, beef shank stir-fry, fresh fish fillets and chicken with black beans.

Brunch at The Upper Room is available on weekends, with regular and vegetarian all-you-can-eat dim sum menus. Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart and Krug champagne free-flow packages are also available.
