Chatrium Phuket Rawai Resort opens this summer - the new property opens in August

A new five-star family resort is coming to Phuket this summer. Chatrium Phuket Rawai Resort is set to launch in August with reservations already open.

Set on the tranquil shores of Rawai Beach on Phuket’s southern coastline, this seaside retreat is Chatrium Hospitatality’s first property to open in Phuket. 

The family-welcoming resort offers rooms and suites with garden and pool views and one- and two-room private pool villas. Interiors draw on the maritime heritage of Rawai’s Chao Lay community.

There are heaps of facilities for kids, like splash pools, water slides and Kalui kids’ club. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy Nemita spa and relax on the expansive pool deck.

Dining options feature a beach bar, lobby lounge and two further restaurants serving local, Asian and international cuisine.

Rawai is considered to be a more peaceful corner of Phuket and is around a 90-minute drive from the international airport. Longtail boats sail from the bay to nearby islands and Promthem Cape, Nai Han Beach and Ya Nui Beach are all within easy reach.
