Clockenflap celebrates its 14th festival this year
Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s largest annual music and arts festival, will be returning this November.
Taking place at Central Harbourfront, the festival kicks off on November 29 and runs until December 1.
While Saturday’s headliner has yet to be revealed, organisers have now announced the first wave of acts.
They include Sunday night headliner and rock icon Jack White and Friday night headliners, French duo Air. Air recently performed at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
US singer-songwriter St Vincent will also be performing on Saturday and will be showcasing this year’s album, ‘All Born Screaming’. UK DJ Jamie xx will also be playing, along with fellow British act, psychedelic pop-rockers Glass Animals.
Showcasing Japan’s music scene are hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, J-Pop vocalist yama, post-rock masters toe, girl-group Saturazaka46 and indy-pop band Cody - Lee.
Indie trailblazers include Mother Mother from Canada, Japanese-Australian four-piece band Last Dinosaurs, Bubble Tea and Cigarettes from Los Angeles, London band Fat Dog and Hong Kong act An Id Signal.
This is Clockenflap’s 14th festival and along with the music, there’ll be plenty of food and beverage options.
