Hilton Nagasaki opens

Hilton Nagasaki has opened in Japan.

Hilton has opened its first hotel in Nagasaki, Japan.

Hilton Nagasaki is located near the waterside and west of the new West Kyushu Shinkansen (high-speed passenger train station). It’s also close to Nagasaki’s most popular sightseeing hotspots, including Mount Inasa and UNESCO World Heritage sites Glover Garden and Oura Cathedral.

The 200-key Hilton Nagasaki offers rooms and four suites, all with digital key access and smart tvs. Amenities include an executive lounge for guests staying on the executive floors, fitness centre and a hot bath.

Four dining spaces at Hilton Nagasaki include Tamatsurumi serving teppanyaki, tempura and sushi using ingredients sourced locally and in other parts of Japan, Chinese restaurant Fukukairo serving modern cuisine with local ingredients from the nearby mountains and ocean, all-day dining restaurant De Vaert with a mix of seasonal dishes and Japanese, Chinese and Dutch options reflecting Nagasaki’s food heritage, as well as Seven Seas lounge and bar.

“The opening of Hilton Nagasaki is especially significant as it marks our 500th hotel in Asia Pacific,” said Alan Watts, president of Hilton Asia Pacific. “We are delighted to… bring the first Hilton hotel to the city as we continue to expand our footprint in key destinations across the region.”
