Jen Hong Kong by Shangri-La - the rooftop pool has harbour views

Shangri-La has unveiled a new-look hotel in Hong Kong. Jen Hong Kong by Shangri-La boasts new rooms and suites, upgraded rooftop wellness facilities and a brand new Jen Residence.

The Sheung Wan property has been reimagined as an urban sanctuary with clean lines, a calming palette of warm greys, touches of natural oak and black timber, and mood lighting that transforms rooms into cosy retreats.

The upgraded room categories include the entry-level Cityscape, through Harbourscape, Mountain Club, Harbour Club and Suite Club. At the top of the scale is the new Jen Residence. All rooms include multifunctional desks, sliding privacy partitions, and window-side daybeds with harbour, city or mountain views.

Decorating the walls is photography by local architect and artist Jeff Tung. The series, ‘Hidden Moments of Stillness’ captures Hong Kong’s calm amidst the busyness, complementing the hotel’s tranquil vibe.

The newly-launched Jen Residence is designed for extended stays and features separate living and sleeping areas, a fully equipped kitchenette and walk-in wardrobe.

On level 29 is a rooftop gym, pool and outdoor yoga and meditation deck. One floor down on level 28 is the newly renovated Club Lounge with harbour views, an open snack pantry and a daily cocktail session from 5.30pm.

Jen Hong Kong by Shangri-La is one-minute from HKU MTR station and strolling distance from Sheung Wan and Central.
