The new property will open in December 2022.
Phuket is to welcome another resort with the opening of Layan Green Park next year.
Slated to begin welcoming guests in December 2022, the property will also be the first new construction in Thailand to receive EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification.
Layan Green Park will be located at Bangtao Beach and will offer more than 400 rooms in five categories.
The resort will be extending a warm welcome to families and anticipates offering a “wide a wide range of entertainment options for children”.
Further amenities will include two dining spaces focused on locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients, a lounge bar and a pool bar. There will also be a Wellbeing Spa, a gym, landscaped grounds with jogging paths and a yoga terrace and three freshwater swimming pools.
Layan Green Park will join WorldHotels’ ‘Distinctive’ collection. It will be the first WorldHotels Distinctive collection property to open in southern Thailand.
