Enjoy a happy hour gin cocktail menu at The Hari this summer.
Hong Kong’s swish The Hari hotel is mixing up its drinks menu this summer with gin specialist Monkey 47.
Drop into The Lounge for 'happy hour' gin cocktail specials and head on to the hotel's dining spaces for a five-course meal with cocktail pairing menu. The hotel will also be offering ‘The Wild Monkey Inn’ staycation package to celebrate the collaboration.
The batch-distilled and handcrafted Monkey 47 gin hails from Germany’s Black Forest region - spruce tips, elderflowers, sloes, blackberry leaves and ‘secret weapon’ lingonberries, fresh from the forest floor, make-up some 47 handpicked plant ingredients that give the gin is distinctive flavour. All ingredients are prepared using super soft Black Forest spring water to create a tipple the brand hopes fuses British traditions with Indian 'exoticism' and Black Forest originality.
The Hari will be showcasing the gin until September 15 as part of a specially crafted menu of cocktails,a five-course cocktail pairing menu at the hotel’s Japanese dining space, Zoku Restaurant & Terrace, as well as The Wild Monkey Inn staycation package.
The Monkey 47 Signature Cocktail & Monkey 47 Gin O’ Clock happy hour includes a range of five cocktails shaken up by The Hari beverage manager Sabrina Cantinin Budden, using Monkey 47 Dry, Sloe and Barrel Cut. All are available at the hotel’s Lucciola Restaurant & Bar, Zoku Restaurant & Terrace and The Lounge. Between 4.47 and 6.47pm Monday to Thursday, there’s a 47% happy hour discount at The Lounge. And join the special treasure hunt to find all the monkeys at The Lounge and you could win a bottle of Monkey 47 Dry Gin to take home.
Meanwhile, The Wild Monkey Inn staycation package includes a one-night stay in a Monkey 47-themed room or suite, breakfast for two, a welcome Monkey 47 cocktail, a welcome Monkey Kiosk DIY gin and tonic gift set and the opportunity to take part in a Monkey 47 Dry Gin masterclass.
