Officials from North London Collegiate School International and local partner HOEH Group announce the launch

Hong Kong will soon be welcoming a new international school with the big news this week that North London Collegiate School International will be opening a campus in Hong Kong.

It has been revealed that the leading independent school is to be developed in partnership with local organisation, HOEH.

NLCS International already has campuses in Jeju, Dubai, Singapore and Japan, as well as its original home in London. The schools are recognised for academic excellence and a holistic approach to learning.

Founded in 1850, North London Collegiate School is one of the oldest girls’ schools in the country and consistently ranks among the top schools globally for academic performance. In 2025, NLCS (UK) achieved first place nationally and second place globally for International Baccalaureate results.

“We are delighted to be working with HOEH to bring NLCS’s unique blend of academic ambition and individual support for every child to Hong Kong and to welcoming families and staff to the newest member of the NLCS family of schools,” said Gwen Byrom, director of Education Strategy, NLCS International.

Not much has been revealed about NLCS HK, but the school is aiming for a launch date to coincide with the start of the 2026 academic year. Watch this space for more details.
