Tuck into a ‘Thai-Tastic Weekend Brunch’ at this Tsim Sha Tsui restaurant. Explore classic Thai and Southeast Asian dishes, from starters and soups to unlimited Thai snacks, à la carte mains and puds. Think wok-fired prawns, satay skewers, Thai-style shrimp toast, Thai beef curry, grilled fish with lemongrass, mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream. Fancy freeflow? Add-on a drinks package featuring selected beers, house wines and a cocktail for $150.

The harbour-view ‘Prime Rib Brunch’ feast serves up the best of Morton’s across three courses. Signature starters include a jumbo shrimp cocktail, chef’s selection of fresh oysters and lobster bisque. Tasty mains run from lamb rack with red wine mustard sauce and 10oz New York strip steak with truffle butter, to Chilean seabass with caviar white wine butter sauce. But the highlight of the menu is the 42oz, bone-in, prime rib for two (advance reservation required). Finish with crème brûlée or Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake with ice cream.

Casa Sophia Loren

Head over to Wan Chai’s Casa Sophia Loren for the 'A’ Tavola' brunch with unlimited pasta and Southern Italian dishes. Moreish starters include freshly shucked oysters, creamy burrata, octopus carpaccio and tuna tartare. Comforting mains feature pasta dishes plus truffle risotto and eggplant parmigiana. The meal concludes with a tempting dessert platter. The elevated three-hour freeflow package ($300 per person) includes unlimited Moët & Chandon champers and a sommelier’s selection of red and white wines, or upgrade to the Ruinart champagne package at $600 per person.

Summer brunches in Hong Kong - celebrate southern Chinese cuisine at Ming Pavilion


Ming Pavilion’s new ‘Sunday Dim Sum Brunch’ pays homage to southern China and features Hokkein flavours, premium ingredients and elegant Fujian cuisine. The brunch showcases more than 20 dishes that blend traditional techniques with regional nuance. Six, eight or ten courses are available, featuring a wide variety of dim sum, hot and cold starters and seasonal greens. Amongst many others, dig into delectable steamed fresh prawn dumplings with spicy capsicum sauce, delicious pan-fried taro dumplings filled with pork and lobster and home-style steamed dumplings with pumpkin, bamboo shoot and matsutake mushroom. A two-hour freeflow package is available at $198 per guest.

Summer brunches in Hong Kong - dig into dim sum at Chinesology's Cantonese Odyssey


The ‘Cantonese Odyssey Weekend Brunch’ launched this summer, featuring more than 20 varieties of dim sum, plus Cantonese puddings. Handcrafted dim sum highlights include steamed shrimp dumplings with Chinese chives, Shanghainese-style xiao long bao, steamed Chinese cabbage dumplings, baked Iberico pork in puff pastry and homemade rice rolls with chilli sauce. Sweet treats feature oven-baked egg tarts, steamed Cantonese sponge cake with caramel and traditional sugar sponge cake.
