The festive afternoon tea menu at Mandarin Oriental’s Clipper Lounge is a scrummy smorgasbord of Christmas treats, including smoked turkey and cranberry sandwiches, mince pies, gingerbread, yule log and stöllen. Add some sparkle with a glass of champagne.

The traditional Teas of Hope hosted by Hong Kong’s ‘grande dame’ is back this year. Head to the lobby lounge for this special Christmas tea with a portion of proceeds donated to Make-A-Wish International. Tuck into classic cucumber sandwiches, smoked duck puffs with chestnuts and truffle cream, Boston lobster sandwiches, white chocolate mousse, cinnamon biscuits, caramelised nut tart and fluffy raisin scones with clotted cream and jam.

Head over to the Harbour Grand Kowloon for a Christmas-themed tea set with plenty of sweet and savoury delicacies. Highlights include pan-fried foie gras with brioche and fig, pork and bacon sausage, ginger man cookies, Christmas macarons, mini Santa Clauses and lemon pistachio cake Christmas trees. There are also plenty of freshly baked raisin scones and a choice of tea or coffee.
