The stunning property on Mahé’s pristine west coast has reopened following a major revamp. Rooms and social spaces have received an upgrade at this resort which lies just 30 minutes from the international airport. The resort is cocooned by palm-fringed gardens on the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. New accommodation includes brand new Lagoon Access Rooms. Poolside areas have also been expanded.

Fresh dining initiatives include light bites at Pti-Bazaar, wood-fired grills at Somewhere and sushi with a Seychelles twist at Seyumai.

In 2026 the resort will be opening two further dining venues including Nowhere, a secluded rum and hammock bar, and Upper Deck, a champagne and tapas bar overlooking Barbarons Bay.

Special opening rates start at US$460 per night, based on two adults sharing a Garden View Balcony Room including breakfast. This offer is valid until March 31, 2026.

Dusit Hotel AG Park Chengdu

The best new resorts in Asia summer 2025 - enjoy a relaxed family break in mainland China

Thailand’s luxury hotel brand, Dusit Hotels and Resorts, has opened a brand new, family-friendly property in Chengdu in Sichuan Province.

The retreat is located at Tianfu Agricultural Expo Park, a recently developed park and exhibition area designed to showcase Sichuan’s agricultural innovation.

Dusit Hotel AG Park Chengdu is Dusit’s eighth property to open in China and the first in Sichuan Province. This latest Thai-inspired hotel in Dusit’s portfolio is surrounded by picturesque Chinese tea gardens and organic farms. And you don't have to venture far from the city to enjoy this ecologically rich retreat; it's just 30 minutes from Chengdu’s international airport and 20 minutes from Xinjin high-speed railway station. 

The hotel offers 241 guest rooms and seven private luxury villas. Dining spots at Dusit Hotel AG Park include Harvest, an all-day dining restaurant with a farm-to-table focus, a specialty barbecue restaurant known as The View and a Chinese restaurant with eight private dining rooms.

The hotel also has an indoor pool, a kids’ club, mahjong rooms and a fully equipped gym. Guests can enjoy guided nature walks, craft workshops, visits to Tianfu Expo Mail Pavilion and learn about Chinese farming at the Rural Revitalisation Demonstration Zone.

Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives

This luxury five-star resort has opened in North Malé atoll as part of the multi-destination resort, The Atollia. The private retreat boasts private beaches, world-class dining and wellness facilities.

Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives is directly connected to Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives, an underwater world-themed family resort with water attractions and further dining options, via a private bridge.

Centara Grand Lagoon’s 142 villas and rooms include nine configurations, from a one-bedroom overwater villa to three-bedroom overwater villas with pools and ocean slides. Beachfront villas all come with private pools. While Centara Grand Lagoon isn’t specifically aimed at families, Centara Mirage Lagoon over the bridge offers a water park, lazy river, playgrounds and a kids’ club.

The resorts are a speedy 30-minute boat ride from the international airport in Malé.

dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives

This is luxury hotel brand Dusit Hotels and Resorts’ first all-inclusive resort and it’s just a short, ten-minute speedboat ride from the international airport at Malé. This is the second Dusit property to open in the Maldives, complementing the existing Dusit Thani Maldives resort in Baa atoll.

The new property soft-opens on July 27 and is located in a lagoon bursting with coral reefs, marine life and great diving sites. The resort features spacious villas with configurations running from eachfront retreats to expansive overwater villas. Most villas include indoor-outdoor living spaces, private decks and plunge pools.

The all-inclusive concept covers à la carte dining in five venues, unlimited premium drinks, daily entertainment and resort credits. In-resort facilities include Namm Spa, beachfront yoga, live DJ sets, beach cinema nights and snorkelling.
