Paradisus by Meliá Bali has opened on the holiday island’s southern coast. This is the first Paradisus-branded property to open in Asia.

The resort offers suites and private garden villas. Facilities include no fewer than four pools including an Aquazone water park with slides, eight dining spots, three bars surrounded by tropical garden landscaping overlooking the Indian Ocean. The villas include five one-bedroom configurations and two with two bedrooms, ideal for larger families. Each villa has a private pool, outdoor dining area, open-air shower and amenities include a Balinese rattan bag, sarong, hat and yoga mat.

A ‘family concierge’ ensures families are well-provided for, with spacious suites, in-room amenities and access to an exclusive beach area. There’s also a family-friendly restaurant, an exclusive family check-in area and a children’s playground. For older children, there’s a Teens Club for 13 to 18 year olds with a range of activities.

The all-inclusive offer comprises accommodation, dining across all restaurants, daily poolside snacks and a mini-bar replenished with selected drinks.

All-inclusive guests can also take advantage of the resort’s Destination Inclusive programme, a signature Paradisus concept of curated cultural experiences such as the Devan Show featuring traditional dance and music at Bali Nusa Theatre, daily in-house experiences like Lontar writing and Balinese dance and activities for children like balinese arts and crafts, kite making and fish and duck feeding.

“This resort represents a new way of experiencing a destination many travellers globally feel they already know,” said Meliá Hotels International chairman and chief executive, Gabriel Escarrer Jaume. “Through thoughtful design, cultural immersion and a sense of ease created by our all-inclusive approach, Paradisus invited guests to discover a more connected side of the island.”
