Mandarin Oriental plans golf resort in Middle East - an artist's impression of the estate
A new Mandarin Oriental property is on the cards for the Middle East as plans were revealed this week for Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai.
This will be Mandarin Oriental’s first dedicated golf resort its third property in the city. It will be positioned as a destination for golf enthusiasts as well as having a strong focus on wellbeing. The property will be located within the Jumeirah Golf Estates, the Next Chapter, in the southwestern area of Dubai.
The proposed 121 rooms and suites at the new resort will complement 97 branded villa residences. The residential villas will be availbale for sale in three- to six-bedroom configurations and each will have its own amenities and private access to a lounge, meeting space, pool and fitness areas.
The property will also feature The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, offering hotel guests and residents wellness, beauty and massage treatments. Around 5,000 sqm of the venue will be dedicated to holistic wellbeing, with male and female-only pools, an outdoor meditation area, a barber and hair salon and three swimming pools.
Guests and residents at Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates will also be able to take advantage of the wider facilities of Jumeirah Golf Estates, the Next Chapter, with its 18-hole championship golf course, driving range and academy and agronomy programmes, as well as a Golf Clubhouse with pro shop, sports bar and gym. In addition, an Equestrian Centre and Clubhouse offers indoor and outdoor arenas, training facilities, stabling and scenic riding trails. And youngsters will be able to enjoy a fully serviced indoor and outdoor kids’ club and nursery.
Hotel guests and residences will be able to dine at six venues at the estate, including two restaurants at the Golf Club and a Halfway Hut on the course, as well as Mandarin Oriental's planned restaurants.

Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai is slated to open in 2030.
