TransNusa flies Indonesia's most secluded destinations, like Bima's famous pink beach
Indonesian airline TransNusa is neatly linking up domestic routes to some of the country's most stunning - and secluded - destinations.
At the end of 2025, the airline launched four new flights, increasing connectivity between Bali, Lombok and Bima. The newly launched services include Bali to Lombok, Bali to Bima - the gateway to the country’s famous ‘pink’ beaches - as well as flights from Sorong to Timika and Manado to Sorong.
TransNusa Group chief executive officer Datuk Bernard said with the new launches, the airline hopes to increase connectivity and travel options for both domestic and international visitors. “Our focus is on increasing direct flights to destinations that are world renowned for their unique and stunning landscapes and natural offerings,” he said.
Bima’s ‘pantai pink’ is a rare natural wonder with coral-influenced pink-hued sands and crystal waters, while Sorong serves as the gateway to Raja Ampat, one of the world’s top dive destinations. Timika provides access to Jaya Wijaya Mountain and supports a robust community tied to Indonesia’s largest gold mining operations.
The Bali to Lombok service operates twice a day, departing Denpasar International Airport at 7.30am and landing in Lombok International Airport at 7.55am. The return flight departs Lombok at 8.25am, arriving back in Bali at 9.05am. A second flight takes off at 3.55pm, arriving in Lombok at 4.50pm, the return leg leaving Lombok at 5.20pm and arriving in Bali at 6.05pm.
TransNusa launched in 2023 with initial international routes between Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta and Singapore.
